The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Gujarat chapter is ramping up its machinery for the local self-government polls by establishing a powerful ‘Pradesh Sankalan Samiti’ at the state level. State president Jagdish Vishwakarma made the announcement on Wednesday, following deliberations with the national leadership and advisors.
Prominent figures in the core panel include CM Bhupendra Patel, Vishwakarma himself, CR Patil as Union Minister, Deputy CM Harsh Sanghvi, organization general secretary Ratnakarji, ministers Jitu Vaghani, Rishikesh Patel, Darshana Vaghela, ST Morcha chief and MLA Ganpatsinh Vasava, and ex-ministers Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and I.K. Jadeja.
This came right after a significant organizational conclave presided over by Vishwakarma at Gandhinagar BJP HQ. Key participants were Ratnakarji, Gordhan Zadaphia of the election committee, along with state functionaries, campaign leaders, and local chieftains from districts and cities.
In the meeting, Vishwakarma laid out a comprehensive roadmap for election readiness, delving into micro-strategies from booths to higher units. The party plans an aggressive household outreach to apprise voters of BJP’s accomplishments in Gujarat, crediting PM Modi’s vision and CM Patel’s execution.
“Our workers will knock on every door with the development report card,” he asserted. Vishwakarma urged leaders to fortify coordination via intensive tours, networking, and diligent efforts across all tiers, aiming for airtight teamwork.
As Gujarat’s political landscape heats up, this core group formation underscores BJP’s meticulous planning to secure victories in the civic polls, leveraging its strong organizational base and proven track record.
