BJP Candidates Highlight Party’s Social Harmony and Leadership in UP Rajya Sabha Poll
In addition to Shruti Gangwar, other BJP nominees for the Uttar Pradesh Rajya Sabha seats articulated the party’s core themes. Priyanka Singh Rawat thanked both central and state leadership, promising to honor the confidence placed in her. Vidyasagar Sonkar, a longtime party worker, reiterated the BJP’s commitment to the ideals of pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and social harmony across the state and nation.
Prakash Pal, a self‑described “sanatan” believer, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitin Gadkari, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and the state leadership for giving a grassroots worker this opportunity. He also criticised the Samajwadi Party chief, suggesting that opposition alliances are losing ground.
Senior lawyer and senior advocate Radhakant Ojha, who has served at the booth level, said his focus now is the 2027 elections, aiming for the BJP to secure a two‑thirds majority.
