BJP Calls for Floor Cooperation on FCRA Bill, Urges All Parties to Join Discussion

Speaking on the upcoming Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) amendment, Samik Battacharya reiterated the BJP’s commitment to floor cooperation. He urged every party to participate in debates on the bill, emphasizing its importance for transparency in foreign funding.

He recalled that Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju had recently met with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi concerning floor management. Battacharya assured that the FCRA bill will be introduced soon and the government will work tirelessly to secure its passage.

The leader also reminded the Congress of its past cooperation with former opposition parties, such as the Janata Dal, during its tenure in power, underscoring the need for constructive engagement across the aisle.
