Bilateral talks in Tashkent cover trade, minerals, digital payments and defence

In the presidential palace, Modi met Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for a delegation‑level dialogue. The agenda spanned trade and investment, critical minerals, defence and security, innovation and start‑ups, digital public infrastructure and UPI, health care, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, education, tourism, space and public diplomacy. Both leaders reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and identified new avenues for cooperation.
