Looking beyond conventional taxis, the West Bengal government outlined an ambitious roadmap to broaden the digital platform’s scope. Future phases will add bike‑taxi services, auto‑rickshaws and other micro‑mobility options to Yatri Saathi’s ecosystem. The goal is to create a single, unified portal where riders can choose the most suitable mode for their journey, whether it is a four‑seater car, a two‑wheeler or an auto.

By incorporating these additional categories, officials expect to improve last‑mile connectivity in suburban and semi‑rural districts, reducing reliance on private vehicles and easing traffic congestion across the state.
