Women and Children Abuse Cases Among Top Complaints in Bihar

The NHRC report lists 8,899 complaints related to offenses against women, including harassment, sexual assault, and other crimes. Out of these, 8,716 have been resolved, while 183 remain pending.

Children are not exempt from the trend; 1,891 complaints involving minors have been recorded, with 1,730 cases closed and 161 still awaiting a decision. These figures highlight the urgent need for child protection services and swift judicial action.
