In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, a woman eloped with her boyfriend, sending a WhatsApp message to her husband stating that she was going to get married. The message included a photo of her with her boyfriend and an apology. The woman, who had been married to her husband for about five months, also fled with 53,000 rupees in cash and jewelry worth 1.70 lakh rupees belonging to her and her mother-in-law. The incident occurred in the Mithanpura police station area. After leaving, the woman sent a message from an unknown number to her husband, along with a photo of her with a man, and a note indicating her intention to marry him.
