Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has seemingly sidelined his son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from both the party and the family. This action followed the circulation of a photo of Tej Pratap with Anushka Yadav. Tej Pratap has been expressing his feelings and sending political messages via social media. He references his parents and is seen standing in front of a picture of Lalu Prasad Yadav with open arms.
Tej Pratap posted a picture of his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, on social media. In the image, Tej Pratap is standing below a picture of Lalu Prasad Yadav on a wall. He accompanied the picture with the message, ‘The darker the night, the closer the dawn.’ In the image, Tej Pratap Yadav has both his arms outstretched, showing his eagerness for a comeback. The question arises whether Tej Pratap, who has always been a favorite of Lalu Yadav and has been forgiven for his mistakes, will be forgiven this time.
Lalu Prasad Yadav has removed his elder son, Tej Pratap, from both the family and the party. This is being viewed in the context of the upcoming Bihar elections, as Anushka Yadav, allegedly Tej Pratap Yadav’s girlfriend, is at the center of the issue. It is reported that Tej Pratap has married Anushka Yadav, while his first marriage to Aishwarya Yadav is still under dispute in court. Therefore, after the emergence of Tej Pratap’s picture with Anushka, it is believed that there could be a direct loss to Lalu’s party and family. Considering the importance of public conduct and family discipline, Lalu Prasad Yadav took action as the head of the party and family.
The way Tej Pratap’s wife, Aishwarya, has reacted with complaints and strictness has created trouble for RJD’s equations and the threat of voters moving away from the party. Seeing the efforts of Tejashwi Yadav failing, Lalu Yadav took strict action against Tej Pratap.
Tej Pratap Yadav, who has been ousted from the Lalu family and RJD, appears desperate to return. A week after Lalu’s action, Tej Pratap Yadav also reacted. Tej Pratap wrote on social media, ‘My dear Mummy-Papa… my whole world is contained in both of you, you are more than God, you are everything I have, I only need your trust and love and nothing else. Papa, if you weren’t there, there would be no party and no greedy people like some Jaychands who are doing politics with me. Just Mummy-Papa, you both stay healthy and happy always.’
Tej Pratap did not mention any of his siblings. Following this, Tej Pratap wrote another post focusing on his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav – both posts have one thing in common: the mention of Jaychand. Regarding Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap wrote, ‘Those who dream of separating me from my Arjun, you will never succeed in your conspiracies, you can take Krishna’s army, but not Krishna himself. I will expose every conspiracy soon. Just trust me my brother, I am with you in every situation, currently I am away, but my blessings were always with you and will be with you my brother, take care of Mummy-Papa, Jaychand is everywhere, inside and outside.’
On June 7, Tej Pratap Yadav shared a post where he was seen listening to people’s problems. Tej Pratap wrote that a person walking on the path of truth is always victorious. We should always walk on the path of truth. The path of truth is certainly difficult, but victory always belongs to the person walking on the path of truth. After this, he made another post on June 9, in which he is standing below the picture of Lalu Yadav on the wall with his arms outstretched.
Tej Pratap seems helpless for his return to the family and the party. Lalu Yadav will forgive him sooner or later, but for the time being, he is refraining from taking steps due to the electoral atmosphere. Lalu Yadav’s political career has a long list of people whom the RJD leader has forgiven.
