Following heavy rains, a spell of scorching heat is being experienced. From the plains to the hilly regions of North India, everyone is currently grappling with the heat. According to the weather department, this heat will persist for a while. The weather is hot and humid from Delhi to Himachal Pradesh, while central India experiences a different climate. Maharashtra and Gujarat continue to face rainfall.
In Delhi-NCR, relief from the heat was experienced on Saturday after a week of intense heat. Today, the weather will be mixed, with cloudy skies but also heat. The weather in Delhi-NCR today will range from 28 to 35 degrees Celsius. The temperature will drop at night. The weather department does not foresee any rain in the region for the next four days. Delhi residents will have to endure the heat.

The weather in Lucknow is expected to be normal on Sunday. The maximum temperature today will be around 34 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of rain in Lucknow from September 30, which will make the weather pleasant. Today, Ayodhya, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Kanpur, and Barabanki will also have sunshine. The maximum temperature in these districts will be around 35 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Noida today will be around 35 degrees Celsius, and Ghaziabad is also expected to have similar weather.
Monsoon Withdrawal from Rajasthan
Monsoon has withdrawn from Rajasthan. Monsoon had departed from all parts of Rajasthan on September 26. Between September 28 and October 3, rain may occur in the eastern, south-eastern, and southern Rajasthan, in the Kota, Udaipur divisions and surrounding areas. The weather is expected to remain dry in most parts of western Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days.
In Bihar, according to the IMD, rain may occur from October 2. During this time, scattered showers may be seen in some places. Today, Bihar’s weather will remain dry. According to the IMD, the weather in Patna, Gaya, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, and the remaining districts will remain completely dry. There will be no rain in these districts. The temperature is forecast to increase by two to four degrees Celsius. Humidity will cause sweating. However, the sun may get some moisture.
The hilly areas are also in the grip of the heat. The weather in Himachal Pradesh will be completely clear and dry until October 3, and there will be no major change in the minimum temperature in the next 3-4 days. However, the maximum temperature is expected to gradually increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next 3-4 days. People are currently enduring intense heat in Kangra, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Chamba, Shimla, Solan, and Una.
According to the IMD, the dry weather in Uttarakhand in the coming days will bother people with heat in the plains. However, clouds may be seen in the hilly areas, while light showers may be seen in some places. Rain has been predicted in five districts of the state on Sunday. There is a possibility of very light to light rain and thundershowers in Chamoli, Bageshwar, Champawat, and Pithoragarh districts, while the weather is expected to remain dry in the remaining districts of the state. Today, the weather in Dehradun is expected to range from clear to partly cloudy. The maximum temperature in Dehradun is expected to be 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 22 degrees Celsius.

An orange alert has been issued for rain in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. The IMD has issued a red alert for Palghar district for September 28 and 29. There is a possibility of excessive rainfall in the district during this time. The administration has directed all departments to be vigilant in view of the warning. The weather department has issued a red alert for rain in Mumbai. Heavy rain has been predicted in Mumbai on Sunday. In this regard, the BMC has appealed to people not to leave their homes unnecessarily on Sunday, September 28. The BMC said that people should only go out if necessary. Heavy rain is also expected in many areas on September 29.
