Vaishali Authorities Issue Alert as Gandak Water Rises

The Vaishali district administration has declared a high alert following the release of a massive volume of water from the Valmiki Nagar barrage. The Gandak river is flowing near the danger mark at several points. Officials have urged residents in low-lying areas to evacuate and have prohibited access to the river ghats for safety reasons.
