Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav narrowly avoided injury on Saturday morning when a speeding truck collided with his convoy in Vaishali district. The incident occurred near Goraul on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway while Yadav was returning to Patna from a political rally in Madhepura. The convoy had stopped for a tea break at approximately 12:30 AM when the truck crashed into the stationary vehicles. Yadav, who was a short distance away at the time, was unharmed. However, three security personnel sustained injuries and were immediately taken to a local hospital. Authorities arrested the truck driver and impounded the vehicle. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident. The incident has sparked concerns about the safety of political figures traveling on Bihar roads.
