Political activity is intensifying in Bihar ahead of the assembly elections. Just before the elections, another new party has been formed. Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, and who was expelled from the party, announced the formation of a new party named ‘Jan Shakti Janata Dal’ on Friday. The Congress commented on the formation of the new party, stating that everyone has the right to contest elections.
Former minister Tej Pratap Yadav, while releasing the election symbol of the new party, said that they are ready to fight a long battle for the overall development of Bihar. He also said, “We are fully dedicated and committed to the overall development of Bihar. Our aim is to bring about a complete change in Bihar and build a new system.”
