How a Teacher’s 67-Day Saudi Trip Skewed Bihar School Records

Documents obtained during the inquiry reveal that Sana Reyaz left New Delhi for Saudi Arabia on 21 January 2017 and returned on 30 March 2017, a span of roughly 67 days. She claims the trip was for treatment of a serious health condition. Yet the school’s attendance register shows her present throughout the same period, and the DLD training centre’s log also marks her attendance despite her being overseas. Investigators are now scrutinising the missing attendance register of the Thave training centre and the signatures that authenticated the records.
