Pappu Yadav Threatens Indefinite Fast Over Crime, Student Unrest and Amit Shah’s Policies

While speaking to journalists, Pappu Yadav did not limit his criticism to Bihar’s law‑and‑order situation. He also singled out Union Home Minister Amit Shah, stating that the opposition’s agitation will persist until Shah resigns. Yadav warned that Rahul Gandhi will not be abandoned and that the Prime Minister’s “dream” will continually be challenged. He added that the hunger strike could become open‑ended and might be followed by a call for a statewide shutdown if his demands – tackling crime, supporting student movements, and opposing the 80 percent push for English‑medium education – are ignored.
