Seven Properties, Gold Jewellery and Cash Seized in Simultaneous Searches Across Purnia and Patna

During coordinated raids on three premises in Purnia and Patna, enforcement officers confiscated multiple high‑value items belonging to supervising engineer Satyanarayan Kumar Chaudhary.

The seizure list includes nearly ₹1 lakh in cash, luxurious gold, silver and diamond jewellery whose valuation is being independently assessed, and movable assets worth about ₹26 lakh. Official records for a Hyundai vehicle were also recovered.

In addition to the jewellery, investigators discovered documentation for bank accounts, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) policies and other financial instruments, shedding light on the engineer’s extensive investment portfolio.

The operation was led by Senior DSP Santosh Kumar and DSP Binod Kumar, with Inspector Rajesh Chaudhary among the nine‑member team. The effort underscores the scale of the alleged discrepancy between Chaudhary’s declared earnings and his amassed wealth.
