Latest Sep 19 Fuel Prices Across Major Indian Cities – No Change Seen

Consumers in Noida, Lucknow, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Patna, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Thiruvananthapuram and Ahmedabad were informed on Saturday that petrol and diesel rates stay the same as yesterday’s list. Petrol ranges from Rs 101.96 in Noida to Rs 116.15 in Hyderabad, while diesel varies between Rs 89.47 in Chandigarh and Rs 104.23 in Hyderabad.

The unchanged rates follow a volatile period when crude oil briefly touched the USD 110 mark, forcing marketers to absorb losses of about Rs 5 per litre on petrol and Rs 23 per litre on diesel. With crude now retreating to the low‑$100 band, the industry hopes the margin pressure eases, but tax components and state levies continue to anchor prices at current levels.
