Reliance Jamnagar given highest daily LPG quota

Among the 21 facilities covered by the new directive, Reliance Industries’ Jamnagar refinery serving the domestic market received the steepest assignment – up to 18,000 tonnes of LPG per day when the trigger condition is met. Nayara Energy’s Vadinar unit was allocated 4,480 tonnes per day. Public‑sector refineries collectively have a combined target of 31,470 tonnes per day. No quota was set for Reliance’s second Jamnagar complex, which continues to focus on exports only. The differentiated targets reflect each plant’s capacity and its role in bolstering the nation’s energy security.
