The financial disclosures of Bihar’s new cabinet ministers have revealed a stark contrast between the wealthiest and the least affluent members of the government. Leading the list of crorepatis is Rama Nishad, the representative from the Aurai constituency. Her declared assets reach a staggering Rs 31.86 crore, positioning her as the richest individual in the current cabinet. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Sanjay Kumar, the minister elected from Bakhri, whose assets total approximately Rs 22.30 lakh, making him the member with the lowest declared wealth. Vijay Kumar Sinha reported the highest liabilities at Rs 82.33 lakh among the 15 ministers who declared financial obligations.
