Investigation links Rajasthan's Chandak family to massive sand-mining fraud

Investigators have identified the Chandak family of Shri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, as the controlling interest behind Mahadev Enclave Private Ltd. Both Ashok Chandak and his son Raghuv Chandak feature prominently in the enquiry. Prosecutors allege that the family orchestrated large-scale illegal sand mining in Banka, generating millions of rupees in unlawful proceeds. The ED's seizure of documents and cash aims to dismantle the financial apparatus that supported the fraud.
