Pregnant Woman Accuses Yoga Teacher of Abuse; Authorities Investigate Money Deal
Sub‑Inspector Arti Kumari, heading the investigation, has urged the victim to undergo a medical examination and to record a statement under Section 183 of the Bihar Non‑Cognizable Offences (BNCO) Act. The police report states that the young woman has, up to now, declined to cooperate with the forensic process, hindering the collection of critical evidence.
Officials emphasise that a thorough medical report and a sworn testimony are essential to establishing the nature of the alleged sexual assault and to determining whether the pregnancy resulted from the alleged encounter. The team continues to interview neighbours, friends, and potential witnesses while attempting to locate the accused’s vehicle, which is said to have been offered as collateral in the disputed panchayat settlement.
