Political Clash Erupts Over Rabri Devi's Eviction Notice

The Bihar government's decision to serve an eviction notice to RJD leader Rabri Devi has led to a heated political exchange in the state. The residence at 10 Circular Road, which has been the heart of RJD's strategic operations for twenty years, is at the center of this dispute. While the administration insists that the move is part of a routine reallocation of government housing according to seniority and ministerial roles, the RJD has condemned the move as politically motivated. Party spokesperson Shakti Yadav alleged that the decision is influenced by the BJP's growing dominance within the state government. This is the second time in recent months that such a notice has been issued, with a previous attempt in late 2025 also meeting stiff resistance from the Lalu Prasad family.
