Police Seize 75 Liters of Imported Spirits from Young Woman’s Bag on Train

During a routine inspection at Samastipur Junction, security forces uncovered a cache of foreign liquor hidden inside the luggage of a young female traveler on the Freedom Fighter Express. The first‑class AC coach, usually associated with comfort, became the scene of a major bust when the sealed suitcases were opened, revealing 75 litres of high‑value alcoholic drinks. The operation, carried out by the Railway Protection Force together with the state police, led to the arrest of the 25‑year‑old woman and her 31‑year‑old male associate. The case has been registered under the Prohibition Act, and further legal action is underway.
