The Patna Metro is set to showcase a unique aesthetic. The metro bogies will be painted in a saffron color, and will feature iconic landmarks of the city, including the Golghar, as part of the design. The previously blue and silver bogies, which were originally brought from Pune, are being repainted in saffron. The roof of the metro will be adorned with Madhubani paintings and other traditional Bihari artwork. This three-bogie metro will offer a glimpse into the rich culture and heritage of Bihar. Images of prominent tourist destinations such as Golghar, Mahavir Temple, Mahabodhi Temple, Budhha Stupa, and the ruins of Nalanda will also be displayed on the bogies, both inside and out.
