Investigation Launched After Male Partner Shoots Himself in Patna

Patna police have opened a formal case after Raj Arya, a 45‑year‑old resident of Bikram, allegedly shot himself with his wife's service revolver. Authorities say the couple had a prolonged argument that lasted around thirty minutes near the entrance of a local mall. The confrontation was loud enough for other residents to intervene. After the shots were fired, neighbors found Arya bleeding heavily on the floor, his spouse seated beside him. Despite rapid transport to AIIMS, he could not be revived. The Special Investigation Team (FSI) has been tasked with collecting forensic samples, and the crime scene has been sealed pending further inquiry.
