Online UAN Registration Via UMANG – Complete Walkthrough

Employees across India rely on the Unified Account Number (UAN) for their statutory benefits. The UMANG application provides a quick, paperless route to register for a UAN.

Start by opening the app and navigating to the “EPFO” services section. Select “UAN Services” and then “Create New UAN”.

Enter your EPF member ID, Aadhaar number (if linked), and the date of birth recorded with EPFO.

After completing the form, click “Generate”. Within seconds, the portal will display your newly created UAN along with a QR code for future verification.

Save the UAN securely; it will be required for adding multiple employer accounts, accessing passbooks, and filing claims.
