MCX Futures Show Strong Gains for Gold and Silver Amid Global Uptrend

The Multi Commodity Exchange recorded robust gains in both gold and silver futures on Tuesday, mirroring a broader global uptrend. COMEX gold edged higher by 0.61 percent to $4,115.40 per ounce, and silver surged 1.78 percent to $58.89 per ounce. In India, gold futures were priced near Rs 1.43 lakh per 10 grams, while silver futures touched Rs 2.19 lakh per kilogram.

City-specific 22K and 24K gold prices (per 10g) included: Mumbai Rs 1,31,707 / Rs 1,43,680, Delhi Rs 1,31,478 / Rs 1,43,430, Bengaluru Rs 1,31,817 / Rs 1,43,800, Chennai Rs 1,32,092 / Rs 1,44,100, Hyderabad Rs 1,31,917 / Rs 1,43,910, Kolkata Rs 1,31,532 / Rs 1,43,490, with parallel rates in Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur, Lucknow, Noida, Agra, Amritsar and Vadodara.

By mid‑morning, MCX gold futures settled at Rs 1,43,615 per 10 grams, marking a gain of about Rs 700. Silver futures rose sharply, adding Rs 2,592 to settle at Rs 2,19,337 per kilogram. Analysts suggest that the Indian bullion market will continue to track international price movements closely.
