Mandatory LPG e-KYC Update: How to Avoid Cylinder Disconnection

LPG consumers using Indane, HP Gas, or Bharat Gas must complete their e-KYC verification to maintain an active connection and continue receiving subsidy benefits. A 30-day deadline has been set, after which non-compliant connections may face disconnection. This proactive measure by the oil ministry is designed to identify inactive or duplicate connections. While the process can be done at dealerships using biometric devices, many oil companies have also integrated e-KYC features into their official mobile apps, allowing users to verify their identity via facial recognition from home.
