To further modernise the force and ensure ethical conduct during interactions with the public, the Bihar Police has made body-worn cameras mandatory for all traffic personnel. All vehicle inspections conducted by Sub-Inspectors must now be recorded in their entirety. The headquarters stated that if a camera is intentionally turned off during a stop, the officer in charge will be held fully responsible for any subsequent complaints. This technological intervention is paired with the removal of junior officers from inspection duties to create a more professional and accountable traffic management system.
