Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the extension work of the Digha-Sherpur-Bihta JP Ganga Path project in Patna on Monday. The project, spanning 35.65 km, has a total budget of ₹6495.79 crore. Upon completion, the extension will improve connectivity with the Patna-Ara-Buxar National Highway (NH-922) and the Purvanchal Expressway between Lucknow and Ghazipur, as well as the Ara-Mohania National Highway (NH-319).
During the inauguration, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated that the extension of the JP Gangapath to Koilwar has commenced. He also directed that the construction work be completed on time with quality. The completion of this project will provide more convenience for the city residents in commuting.
