Doctors introduced a cost-effective drug priced at just six to eight Indian rupees, combined with a foreign‑research‑based delivery system that involved mixing the medicine into a nutritive juice and administering it via injection. Over the course of treatment, her psychological symptoms receded, her weight increased, and she expressed a clear intention to pursue a healthier future.
