Investigation Launched After Viral Video Shows Teacher Involved in Child Abuse

The scandal gained momentum when a graphic video featuring teacher Arvind Kumar and a student surfaced on the internet. The clip, allegedly disseminated by fellow teacher Birendra Kumar, sparked outrage among villagers. On August 29, a large crowd stormed the school, detained Arvind Kumar and forced him to answer questions. When they examined Birendra Kumar's phone, additional illicit footage was discovered, leading to a physical altercation between the teachers and the mob. The school principal lodged a formal complaint with the sub‑division education officer, prompting a preliminary inquiry which was forwarded to the district education authority.
