IMD Issues Rain Warnings for Delhi, Noida, Bihar and More on Sep 11

On September 11, the Indian Meteorological Department placed several regions under a heavy rain alert as wind gusts approach 60 km per hour. The warning spans 18 states, with the capital territory, Delhi, and its adjoining city Noida listed among the most vulnerable zones. Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat also feature in the alert list. The department cautions that intense thunderstorms may develop, leading to localized flooding and reduced visibility. Citizens are urged to stay indoors, protect electrical appliances, and follow guidance from disaster management agencies.
