Will Global Oil Trends Push LPG Prices Lower Soon?

Recent weeks have shown a modest easing in crude oil prices, sparking hope among Indian consumers that LPG could follow suit. Analysts note that if the downward trend continues, oil marketing companies may find it feasible to lower cylinder prices without hurting profit margins.

However, official statements from major LPG providers have not confirmed any imminent price cuts. The companies continue to monitor international benchmarks closely, waiting for sustained stability before announcing a reduction. In the meantime, shoppers can keep track of the latest rates by visiting the official portals of Indane, HP Gas, or Bharat Gas, which publish city‑specific pricing for both domestic and commercial cylinders.

The current price list, unchanged as of June 29, shows a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder costing Rs 942 in Delhi, Rs 941.50 in Mumbai, Rs 968 in Kolkata, and up to Rs 1,031.50 in Patna. Commercial 19 kg cylinders range from Rs 2,885.50 in Mumbai to Rs 3,283 in Chennai. These figures serve as a benchmark for households and businesses while they await potential relief from global oil market movements.
