Ganga River to Serve as Alternate Route as Vikramshila Bridge Undergoes Repairs

With the bridge closed, commuters traveling from Bhagalpur to Navgachia, Purnia and Katihar will have to use water transport. The administration will provide free ferry services on the Ganga for the next three months, allowing passengers and goods to cross the river without paying a fare. This measure is expected to ease the inconvenience caused by the road blockage.
