The saga of Sanjeev Mukhiya, a name synonymous with paper‑leak scandals across India, began with an FIR lodged on July 7, 2017 in Patna’s Patra Nagar police station. Charged with fraud, forgery and violations of the IT Act, Mukhiya, his son Dr. Shiv, and nine others were taken into custody.

Fast forward to 2024, the Central Bureau of Investigation cleared Mukhiya in the high‑profile NEET‑2024 leak, issuing a clean chit and an acquittal order from a special CBI court on August 31. However, the Economic Offences Unit’s recent interrogation has resurrected old allegations, revealing Mukhiya’s direct involvement in the 2017 NEET leak, the CSBC‑2023 soldier recruitment paper, and the BPSC Teacher Re‑entry (TRE‑3) exam.

Armed with fresh leads, the EOU has intensified its crackdown, conducting raids across multiple districts to apprehend remaining gang members, trace financial links, and dismantle the solver network that facilitated these breaches.
