Family Grief Deepens as Rescue Teams Retrieve 13 Victims in Vaishali

The community of Ramprashyam Chand is engulfed in mourning after the loss of thirteen youngsters who were on their way to a religious feast on the opposite bank of the Ganga. The children had boarded the overloaded boat to attend a ceremony organized by a local resident. Rescue crews, assisted by the State Disaster Response Force, arrived within minutes of the report and worked through the night to retrieve the bodies. Six individuals were saved – two adults and four children – and are currently receiving medical care at the district’s NMCH hospital. Villagers have demanded swift justice and have staged peaceful protests, urging the administration to file FIRs against those they deem responsible for the lack of safety equipment.
