Fake Police Uniform Used to Lure Job Seekers, Police Say

The deception intensified when a banner bearing the name of a CDPO restoration drive was displayed at the campus entrance. While the banner attracted attention, a man on a mobile phone was seen interviewing people through video calls. The presence of a police uniform on the accomplice made onlookers believe the interview was an official recruitment drive. Police intervened after a department official reported the suspicious activity.
