Facilities, Fees and Eco-Rules Set for Bhagalpur’s Waterfront Revamp

Visitors to the revamped riverfront can expect a host of modern amenities. In addition to boat rides, the area will host food courts, changing rooms, restrooms (men's urinals INR 5, toilets INR 10, women's changing rooms INR 10) and designated zones for DSLR photography at INR 150 per hour and video shoots at INR 2,000. Environmental safeguards are strict: the site lies within the Vikramshila Ganga Dolphin Sanctuary, and the operator must secure No-Objection Certificates from the Forest and Environment departments at its own cost.
