Details of Congress nominees for Bihar’s eight MLC seats released

The party’s list includes former state president Madan Mohan Jha contesting again from the Darbhanga teacher constituency, where RJD has not fielded a rival. In Patna’s teacher constituency, Congress has put forward Sanjay Yadav. The graduate and teacher constituencies are distinct: graduate voters must hold a degree from a recognized Indian university obtained at least three years ago, while teacher voters need a minimum of three years of teaching experience in schools, colleges or universities.
