Delhi Special Court Finds Bihar Legislator Guilty of Culpable Homicide

Raju Singh, a prominent BJP leader and MLA from Bihar, has been found guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder by the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi. The case dates back to December 2018, when a celebratory firing incident at a social gathering led to a fatal injury. While the court held Singh accountable under IPC Section 304 Part II and the Arms Act, it acquitted his wife and several others of charges related to evidence tampering due to a lack of sufficient proof. Singh has been taken into custody following the conviction.
