Darbhanga Bike Agency Worker Slain with Rod and Scissors

The Ashok Paper Mill police station area in Darbhanga became the site of a gruesome homicide on Friday evening. Mohammad Faiz Ahmad, an employee at a local bike agency, was killed in an attack characterized by extreme violence. The incident, which took place within the confines of the Yamaha showroom in Chandan Patti, has left the local business community in a state of fear and mourning. According to the details emerging from the investigation, the assailant entered the showroom with the clear intent to kill. The victim was at his desk when the attacker launched a surprise assault using a heavy iron rod. The CCTV footage of the office shows the attacker striking the victim’s face and head multiple times with immense force. Even as the victim lay incapacitated, the attacker returned with a pair of scissors to stab him in the neck, further illustrating the premeditated nature of the crime. Local residents and family members of the deceased expressed their outrage by organizing a protest late into the night. They blocked the road at National Cinema Chowk, placing the victim's body on the street and demanding the immediate arrest of the perpetrator. Some protesters even called for an 'encounter' style justice, reflecting the intense anger boiling over in the community. The blockade caused significant traffic disruptions until senior police officers intervened. Sadar SDPO Rajiv Kumar has stated that the police have identified the suspect through the available video evidence. Preliminary reports suggest that the attacker and the victim knew each other and had been involved in a prior conflict. A dedicated team has been formed to track down the suspect, who remains at large. The police have urged the public to remain calm while they carry out the legal process to ensure the killer faces trial.
