Controversial statements by Anant Singh fuel JD(U) internal clash ahead of elections

Anant Singh's recent remarks have ignited a fresh dispute within the JD(U) ranks. Claiming that he suffered nine mortal blows while supporting the party during Nitish Kumar's perceived lull, Singh questioned the leadership's gratitude toward its stalwarts. The controversy is amplified by his objections to the party's MLC candidate list, especially regarding Neeraj Kumar. Analysts say the growing dissent could affect JD(U)'s performance in the upcoming local body polls.
