Consumers relying on the compact 5‑kg 'Chhotu' LPG cylinder will now pay Rs 808.50 in Delhi, after a Rs 13 reduction. The price was previously raised by Rs 11 on June 1, reaching Rs 821.50, making the new cut a welcome reversal.

The smaller cylinder is popular among migrant workers, students living away from home, and households with limited storage space. It falls under the free‑trade LPG category, allowing purchase with just an identity proof, without the need for address verification.

Refill options remain flexible; users can refill at authorised Indane distributors, retail outlets, or grocery stores, ensuring accessibility across the city.
