CBSE, ICSE and Private Institutions Remain Closed on July 29 Following Weather Warning

On July 29, schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), as well as private and government schools, will remain closed. The directive aligns with the Indian Meteorological Department's heavy rain warnings for Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha and Himachal Pradesh. The weather forecast predicts intense precipitation that could lead to localized flooding and hazardous commuting conditions. Educational bodies have asked teachers to use the day for preparation and online activities, while urging families to monitor weather updates closely.
