The Buxar-Bhagalpur Expressway is set to become Bihar's longest high-speed corridor, bridging the gap between the state's eastern and western regions. Connecting directly with the Purvanchal Expressway at the Uttar Pradesh border, this route will allow seamless travel from Delhi and Lucknow to the North-East via Bihar. The alignment includes massive bridges over the Son, Punpun, and Falgu rivers to maintain a straight, efficient path.
