New Digital Platform to Connect Govt‑School Students with Teachers After Hours
A fresh digital platform is set to launch across Bihar’s government schools, offering live teacher assistance till 11 p.m. every night. The move, announced by Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary at the Patna Agaz 2026 event, seeks to ensure that students can receive academic help outside regular school timings.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will develop the online portal, integrate live‑class technology, and manage a roster of qualified teachers. The service will be accessible via laptops, tablets, or smartphones, allowing pupils to pose questions and obtain instant clarifications.
The emphasis is on aiding children from financially constrained families who cannot afford private tuition. By providing after‑school guidance, the government hopes to improve learning outcomes for classes 9 through 12, especially in core subjects like mathematics and science.
Officials anticipate that this continuous support will raise overall academic standards in government schools and encourage parents to enroll their children in the public system rather than seeking private alternatives.
