Bihar Crime: Jute Mill Worker Killed in Bhagirathpur Village

A horrifying crime has been reported from Bhagirathpur village in Samastipur, Bihar, where a man was killed with a sharp weapon. The incident has left residents shaken, and police have launched a detailed investigation into the case.

The victim has been identified as Ajit Kumar Sahni, a worker at a jute mill in Musepur. The village falls under the Kalyanpur police station area. Police reached the scene after being informed and took the body into possession.

According to the police, the accused was also employed at the same jute mill. Both men lived in nearby areas and were acquainted with each other. Investigators said a dispute had arisen between them over an issue that is still being examined. In the course of the confrontation, the accused allegedly attacked Ajit with a weapon such as a sickle or axe, killing him.

Since the crime, the accused has been on the run. Police have found that he is mentally ill and had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Muzaffarpur. Officials stressed that his medical history is part of the inquiry.
