Bihar Council Race: RLM MLAs Align with Ram Pukar Sinha Against NDA

In the race for the eight seats of Bihar’s Legislative Council, internal disagreements are emerging. After JD(U) MLA Anant Singh launched a campaign against his party’s candidate Neeraj Kumar in favor of Jan Suraj’s Dr. Anuj Kumar Singh, three RLM legislators—Alok Singh, Madhav Anand and Ramashwar Mahato—joined the protest. They posted a picture together supporting independent Rampukar Sinha’s candidacy for the Saran Teacher constituency. Upendra Kushwaha said the political environment feels like a drug that is making many lose their composure.
