Bihar CM: Government Bungalows Are Not Ancestral Property

Samrat Choudhary has hit back at the Yadav family, stating that no individual has a permanent or inherited claim on government property. The reaction followed accusations from RJD leaders that the state government was deliberately targeting Rabri Devi by reallocating the 10 Circular Road bungalow to Minister Nand Kishore Ram. Choudhary sarcastically remarked that while some leaders focus on securing separate houses for every family member, his administration remains focused on the needs of the common people. He maintained that his stay in an official residence is strictly professional and that he would return to his private home without hesitation the moment his duties or party instructions dictated so, signaling that the era of treating public offices as private estates is over.
