Bihar CM Calls for Exam Review Committee Led by Retired Judge

In response to growing public outcry over examination fraud, Bihar’s Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has announced a special five‑member committee designed to scrutinise the state’s entire assessment architecture. The panel will assess the integrity of secondary, higher secondary, university, professional, entrance and recruitment exams, proposing measures to stop paper leaks and curb impersonation. A retired Supreme Court or High Court judge is expected to chair the group, which will also explore the role of digital technologies, AI‑based evaluation and cyber‑security safeguards. The committee’s findings, due within three months, aim to create a fair, secure and technologically equipped examination ecosystem that serves students from all socio‑economic backgrounds.
